-Copy right
It is a legal concept that grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights to its use and distribution, usually for a set amount of time for the purpose of gaining the creator some wealth so they can support them self financially. The right consist of the creator allowing people they want to, to copy or not this is the laws behind copyrights

-Rip remix manifesto

This is a documentary that was shown to me on my first day of the course it is a about authorship, copy left and the restraints of the copy right laws.
It talks about an artists creating music from others without acquiring the right permission from the right places, so he was breaking the copyright laws but doing this. So his music, which was made with hard, work and not any easier to produce would be destroyed in a court of law because it is illegal and the artist can be find millions of dollars.
It also talks about how ridiculous and how much it costs to acquire the right to use small amounts of popular works and how many parties you will need to ask permission from.
-Girltalk
This is the artist in the documentary his name is Girltalk and he does illegal mash ups of other artists music, but what he does is genius he is talented to understand that where he can drop bash and mix a certain rhythm with another.
Just because he is using other artists to create his pieces he is still author of his work even if its illegal I like
it .
